Why you should talk to PSECO
PSECO has been building benchrest, other target rifles, and accuracy oriented hunting rifles now for 44 years. In that time it has introduced many innovations into this country, innovations which are today taken for granted.
Who are you talking to?
John Giles took part in his first benchrest event at the 1971 National Championships held at Belmont Brisbane.
This began twenty years of total dedication to the sport as a competitor, the high point of which was his first 4 Gun National Championships win in 1975.
In the ensuing years up to 1983 he won a total of four 4 Gun National Championships and amassed points in the Australian Benchrest "Hall of Fame" at an undeniably unprecedented rate since its inception in 1978.
PSECO is importing actions from Stillers Precision Firearms and Kelblys Inc.
Stillers Predator & TAC range of actions have largely replaced the Remington 700 as the go to action for an accurate rifle build here at PSECO.
These are a very well made product which are the mainstay of Stillers business and are the basis of the large range of rifles being offered by PSECO.
Stiller Precision Firearms (SPF) also makes a variety of actions for rimfire and centerfire target rifle applications. These SPF actions can be seen in the rifles pages slideshows.
Kelblys PANDA actions are used for F Class and Benchrest rifles and any application which suits this style of action.
These aluminium and steel insert actions have been produced for 40 years. This is an action system which has stood the test of time with continual product development & refinements being introduced. These Kelbly actions can be seen in the F Class & Benchrest rifles pages slideshows.
LILJA barrels exclusively are imported to cater for every facet of PSECO rifle work, be it a rebarreling job or a complete rifle build for the highest level of international competition. PSECO has been working with Lilja rifle barrels for a significant time and is happy to recommend their products above all others.
Where the customer has the highest expectation of accuracy for the intended rimfire or centerfire rifle project, an action from Stiller Precision Firearms or
Kelblys Inc will be used.
All factory actions (Sako, Ruger, Winchester etc.) have to varying degrees in-built inaccuracies which may or may not affect the successful outcome of a rifle when the user has competitive accuracy in-mind.
PSECO is happy to re-barrel or restock your Sako, Ruger, Winchester etc, but the customer will be responsible for such decisions with the above information in mind.
Trueing and accurising of Remington 700 actions as the basis for a very accurate rifle continues to be offered for customers who own a 700.
If you intend to purchase a 700 to be accurised for an upcoming PSECO rifle build, call John Giles first to discus better options.
